Archaeological Consultancy

We undertake environmental impact assessments where a statement of risk is provided regarding the nature, extent and possible impact on archaeological remains and advice is given on mitigation procedures, with due regard to relevant legislation and planning policy. This procedure can help as early as the design stage. The service includes archaeological landscape assessments and historical and archaeological background studies.

The company employs 3 full time licence eligible archaeologists and a support staff of specialists, senior archaeologists, surveyors and IT specialists. We have carried out everything from assessments, testing, monitoring and excavation for single dwelling house developments to large scale infrastructural developments such as road schemes and electricity lines.

We provide appropriate liaison services with statutory bodies and organisations and have an excellent working relationship with the DEHLG and the NMI.
